Twickenham Spirit of Christmas Past Homes and Luminary Tour

Experience the sights, sounds and scents of the holidays during one of Huntsville's most beloved annual holiday traditions since 1978.  Stroll through the luminary lit historic streets during the Twickenham Spirit of Christmas Past Homes and Luminaries Tour.  The Weeden House Museum, First United Methodist Church and Church of the Nativity feature special music and refreshments.  Four historic homes which rotate annually are also open to guests to tour.  The Weeden House, churches, and historic homes are  dressed in holiday finery.  Additional information at https://weedenhousemuseum.com. 

Built in 1819, the same year that Alabama became a state, the Weeden House Museum, Alabama's oldest house museum, is open for history tours.  Featuring period Federal architecture and the art of renowned poet and artist, Maria Howard Weeden.  Each year in December, visitors can experience the home decorated in holiday finery as it would have looked during the Victorian Era.
