September 18th, 19th, and 20th in Downtown Bridgeport, AL, – Live music, food vendors & family fun help celebrate this annual event. The official Trail of Tears corridor ride begins here and travels West on U.S. Highway 72 to Waterloo, AL. The purpose of the ride is to raise awareness of the forced removal incident that resulted in the deaths of over 4,000 Cherokee Indians. For info: Lisa V. Parton @ 256-495-2227.
