Margarita lovers are invited to sip, sample, and celebrate at the Tuscaloosa Margarita Festival on April 11 from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. at The Venue Tuscaloosa in Northport. Hosted by the International Margarita Organization, this lively event brings together local bars and restaurants for a friendly competition to determine who makes the best margarita in Tuscaloosa.

Each ticket includes ten 3.5-ounce margarita samples, allowing attendees to taste a variety of flavors—from classic lime to bold and creative specialty recipes—served over ice by participating vendors. Guests will have the opportunity to vote for their favorite margarita, with the winning establishment earning $1,000 and citywide bragging rights.

In addition to margarita tastings, the festival will feature live music or a DJ, food vendors, a beer garden, and a chance to win a trip to Mexico. A portion of the proceeds will benefit children’s charities, making it a fun event that also supports a meaningful cause.
