The Glass Menagerie is a memory play by Tennessee Williams that premiered in 1944 and catapulted Williams from obscurity to fame. The story, set in St. Louis in 1937, is drawn from the memories of the narrator, Tom Wingfield. He is an aspiring poet who toils in a shoe warehouse to support his mother, Amanda, and his fragile sister, Laura. Directed by David McMahon.
