The Barbarian Challenge takes place once a year, on the 3rd Saturday in June at Noccalula Falls Park in Gadsden, AL. It is approximately 6 miles and consists of 25 plus obstacles and tough terrain. You also get to run in the gorge of the 90 ft water fall - the centerpiece of the park. It is the south’s most scenic OCR! The Barbarian Challenge is also part of the Alabama OCR Series. The Barbarian Challenge is the toughest race you will ever love!  In addition to the race, there will be music and food vendors selling barbarian-inspired food.
