St. William Seafood Festival

September 4th, 2026 - September 5th, 2026Friday 4-6 p.m.; Saturday Drive Thru, 7:30 am until sold out; Dine in, 10:30 a.m. until sold out

Ahoy seafood lovers.  The food festival features our famous Cajun style file’ gumbo, Cajun style boiled shrimp, BBQ chicken and fried catfish dinners served with hush puppies and Cole slaw.  We will have a “sweet section” where you may purchase something for your sweet tooth.  You can dine in our beautiful air conditioned dining area or you can do carry out.

The Saint William Seafood Festival, best known for its famous gumbo, began in 1971 under the leadership of the late Father Patrick Murphy and a few dedicated parishioners. The festival has continued to be the primary fundraiser for the church throughout the years. The freshly prepared food is a favorite in the local communities and to people coming as far away as Tennessee and Georgia.
