May 2nd, 202610:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.Elba
This free, family-friendly event will feature live artist demonstrations, hands-on arts and crafts activities, and a sidewalk chalk competition designed to engage participants of all ages. A juried artist exhibition will showcase regional talent alongside a curated selection of art and artisan vendors.
Attendees can also enjoy a variety of food trucks, visit a Pop-Up Elba History Museum presented by the Elba Historic Preservation Alliance, and experience a petting zoo by Marley Acres, open from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., offering hands-on fun with friendly animals for children and families.
Set against the backdrop of Elba’s historic downtown, the festival is designed to foster community pride, support the arts, and draw visitors to experience the city’s unique creative spirit.
At exactly 1:54 p.m., the streets of downtown Elba will come alive not just with music, but with gratitude. The 1:54 Parade is a new tradition within the Rockin’ the River Music & Art Festival, dedicated to the true artists of our community: the helpers.
This joyful parade celebrates the nonprofits, churches, service organizations, and local clubs that work tirelessly behind the scenes to make Elba and Coffee County a better place to live. From decked-out golf carts to banners held high, the community is invited to cheer on the neighbors who serve all year long.
When festivities on the square conclude at 4:00 p.m., the celebration continues inside The Elba Theatre for the Rockin’ the River After Party, featuring live performances by Mason Lee, The Tony Brook Family Band, and Lil' Jimmy Reed. There is a $10 cover charge for the After Party. Tickets can be purchased here: https://checkout.square.site/merchant/MLW5JZ8ZEPNBF/checkout/XYXLD55V5GC7KLAWWCCZKXCI
