One of North Alabama's longest running events, the Poke Salat Festival is a tradition in Marshall County. Celebrating the Poke Salat Dish cooked from wild plants. The Festival includes live music, Beats in the Street Percussion Showcase, disc golf shootout, cornhole tournament, artisan demonstrations, vendors, food court area, children's games & activities, Top Dog Competition and more!  Free! Fun for the whole family! The event is held each year on the third Saturday in May.
