Opp Fest is an annual event held on the last Saturday in October and sponsored by the Downtown Redevelopment Authority of Opp. This event includes musical entertainment, food and other vendors, a soapbox derby, a pet parade, and downtown retail stores offering special deals. Downtown Main Street is blocked off so attendees can safely walk and enjoy the day's activities.
