Held in historic downtown Monroeville, the Monroeville Literary Festival honors the legacy of the Literary Capital of Alabama's abundance of writers, including Harper Lee, Truman Capote, and Mark Childress. Attendees can expect three days of fun, food, and engaging conversation with Alabama's and the South's most talented literary artists, including writers, poets, literary scholars, singer-songwriters, playwrights, journalists, podcasters, and more. From the main stage in the courtroom made famous by Lee's and Capote's writings to songwriter sessions in historic buildings around the Square and tours around the Literary Capital Sculpture Trail, attendees will leave Monroeville with unforgettable memories and a stack of new books to enjoy.
