Join Urban Engine for the International NASA Space Apps Challenge in Huntsville on October 18-20, 2019 at the Invention to Innovation Center at The University of Alabama in Huntsville . We're bringing together Huntsville's legendary aerospace + creative + software + engineering communities to collaborate on innovative solutions to NASA'S challenges on Earth and in Space during in a 32-hour competition. The entire weekend of events is FREE and open to the public! Participants will have mentorship opportunities from local Subject Matter Experts on challenges and on technical tools. Space Apps provides fun opportunity to learn new skills and network for both student and professional participants Teams will compete to qualify as finalists eligible to win a share of $10,000 for winning solutions. There are two divisions for prizes: 1. High School 2. College/Professional. Technology expo, conference, educational workshops and career fair are on Friday, October 18, 2019. The Innovation Competition will take place at the Invention to Innovation Center at The University of Alabama in Huntsville for 32-hours Saturday, October 19-20, 2019. The finale event is open to the public and will take place under the Saturn V rocket in the U.S. Space and Rocket Center Davidson Center on October 20, 2019. Additional details at: spaceappshsv.com

    Directions

    From I-565, take the Sparkman Drive Exit. Continue on exit ramp to Sparkman Drive, then turn left . You will be driving north on Sparkman Drive. Take the second right at the campus entrance (Knowledge Drive). Make a 3/4 circle in the roundabout and continue going north (parallel to Sparkman). Continue under the Holmes Avenue overpass. The I2C is a glass building on the right.
