April 19, 2019 to April 20, 2019 in , AL
Sunrise to Sundown both days
The World’s Widest Yard Sale takes place the third Friday and Saturday of April, and is a project of the Alabama Rural Development Office, the Black Belt Commission, and the Chambers and Cities all along Highway 80 from Texas to Georgia and Phenix City to Cuba in Alabama. The sale route will even veer off Hwy 80 to go through several other Black Belt communities including York and Livingston. This back roads tour will provide visitors with two fun-filled days of adventure, combining their love of treasure hunting with the many historical and cultural amenities found along the route. You don't want to miss out on more than 350 miles of antiques, collectibles, one-of-a-kind treasures, arts and crafts, food, and other great bargains from vendors in designated Black Belt communities. This is an entertaining way to showcase this region of Alabama in a positive light, share our culture heritage, and generate revenues for all the communities along Highway 80 and beyond. It takes place the third Friday and Saturday of April.
