The Gulf Coast Ethnic & Heritage Jazz Festival brings three nights of live jazz to Downtown Mobile, offering a vibrant celebration of music, poetry and culture in partnership with the City of Mobile. Performances take place at The Temple Downtown, creating an energetic downtown experience filled with sultry jazz sounds and community engagement.

This year’s featured lineup includes acclaimed artists Kim Scott, Madoca and The Brass Queens, showcasing a mix of contemporary jazz, brass band tradition and Gulf Coast-inspired performance.

Festivities begin Thursday with An Evening of Poetry followed by a full weekend of “Jazz in the City,” highlighting live performances throughout downtown. Ticket prices range from $10–$45, making the events accessible to a wide audience.
