The Greenville Camellia Society is pleased to present the 2025 Greenville Camellia Show on February 15-16 at the Wendell Mitchell Conference Center on the campus of Lurleen B. Wallace Community College.


We encourage everyone to participate in the Greenville Camellia Show! The show is open to entries from any camellia grower as long as they own the bloom. Come to "The Camellia City" and enjoy the displays of beautiful camellias. Bring your blooms and you could be a prize winner!


The charming city of Greenville is the quintessential southern town with a rich history, beautiful Victorian homes and an abundance of camellias. Greenville is known as “The Camellia City" and played a major role in the camellia being named Alabama's state flower.

    Constructed in 1903, the present structure was the fourth courthouse built on the site, following Greenville's selection as the county seat in December 1821.

    1910 Spanish Revival architectural style structure with red tile roof, wide overhanging eaves and stucco walls. Concrete steps and iron fencing added in 1928.
