The upcoming "Celebration of the Arts Awards" will be held at the Alabama Shakespeare Festival on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. The event is much like the Kennedy Center Honors where selected performances pay tribute to each awardee. Tickets are FREE, but they must be reserved by calling 334-242-5147.


The “Celebration of the Arts Awards” program recognizes artists for their work and contribution to the arts in Alabama, across the United States, and beyond. Selected honorees include professional artists, businesspersons, arts volunteers, arts patrons, arts administrators, legislators, arts educators and others noted for promoting the arts.
