25th Annual Catfish Festival

Annual Catfish Festival – The festival occurs each year on the third Saturday in May.  Held along the banks of Lake Guntersville in Scottsboro, the annual Catfish Festival celebrates one of America's favorite outdoor activities - fishing for catfish.. Recognized by Bon Appetit Appalachia as a great hometown family food & fun festival that includes fried catfish plates, arts & crafts show, Car, Truck, Motorcycle & Side-by-side Show, music and a free kids area offering inflatables, train and pony rides and more.  Festival goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and enjoy the live entertainment.
