Alabama celebrates Armed Forces Day with a host of activities and events.  The day begins with the Fallen Hero Run and Walk at 7:00 a.m. on the grounds of the park.  The day includes a patriotic  concert, fly overs, key note addresses by special guests, a veterans market and more.  The day ends with the Gold Star Memorial Service.  The event is free to attend and the public is invited.  $5 parking fee.
