51st Annual Black Belt Folk Roots Festival

Handmade quilts, baskets and crafts with blues on Sat. and gospel on Sun. Downhome cooking, soul food, skins, fish, homemade ice cream. Children's tent with art activities, pottery making, face painting. and games.

This free event is a unique celebration which brings together craft persons, musicians, dancers, storytellers, food specialists, artists and community workers--all of whom are considered bearers of the traditions and folkways of the West Alabama region. Held the fourth Sat. and Sun. in Aug., Saturday 11-6, Sunday 2-7
