Civil War reenactment featuring more than 200 authentically clad reenactors with mock battles,  drills, and demonstrations for the public to experience. The Battle for Decatur Civil War Reenactment commemorates the four-day battle, which took place in October 1864.  The Battle for Decatur is held on Labor Day weekend every year at Point Mallard Park.
