February 09, 2019 to April 07, 2019 in Auburn , AL
The Jule Collins Smith Museum of Fine Art welcomes you to “AU VI: Department of Art and Art History Studio Faculty Exhibition” on display from Feb. 9 to April 7. “AU VI” is the latest and sixth in this series of triennial exhibitions that features the work of Auburn’s talented, dedicated community of artists and art historians. It’s your chance to view a collection of diverse art ranging from painting, ceramics, sculpture, printmaking, photography, and digital media that would not otherwise be accessible to students or the general public. Take this opportunity to enjoy a rare, first-hand encounter with the ongoing work of Auburn’s artists and the comprehensive programs that the university has to offer. Presented in part with generous support from the Alabama State Council on the Arts and the Alabama Bicentennial Commission in recognition and celebration of the 200th anniversary of Alabama statehood in 2019.
