The Alabama Orchid Society presents the 40th annual Alabama Orchid Show and Sale.  See hundreds of blooming orchids on display and shop for orchid plants and orchid supplies from some of the region’s top orchid growers, September 20 - 22, 2024 in the auditorium of the Birmingham Botanical Gardens.

The Alabama Orchid Festival and Sale and the Birmingham Botanical Gardens are not only beautiful in September, they are also free to the public with free parking. Photography during the show is welcomed and encouraged.   

Please be aware:  To those who are driving a distance to the show, Friday is a set up for the orchid exhibit/displays that are being assembled, but sales will ongoing during this time.  On Saturday, the exhibits/displays will be available to the public after 12 noon , after orchid judging has finished.  

Show tip...Friday is best day to buy plants.  Saturday is the best day to talk to the vendors about orchid growing.

Friday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Orchid sales only)
Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm (Sales/Exhibits)
Sunday: 11:00 am – 3:00 pm. (Sales/Exhibits)
