Spanish Fort

Since 2004, the annual Alabama Coastal BirdFest has welcomed visitors from all over the U.S. and Canada who have come to the prime viewing spot for the fall migration. Event includes more than 30 expertly guided tours on land and water, workshops, evening speaker (tours, workshops & evening events require advance registration) and a free, family-friendly Bird & Conservation Expo. Held annually on the first week of October.

    Spanish Fort Town Center

    Beautiful site with shopping, restaurants, and two hotels.

    Meaher State Park

    This 1,327-acre park is situated in the wetlands of Mobile Bay and is a day-use picnicking and scenic park with modern camping hook-ups and bathhouse facilities for overnight visitors.

    Delta Explorer / Historic Blakeley State Park

    Two and three-hr. guided boat tours of Mobile-Tensaw River Delta and Port of Mobile aboard 50-passenger covered pontoon boat. Charters, walk-ons available year-round.

    Spanish Fort Kids Park
