Join us for a fun talk and tasting on Wedding Cakes over the centuries. One would be surprised with the evolution of one of Western Civilization’s favorite foods. Tastings focus from the American Revolution period to modern times, while the talk takes us all the way back 2000 years!

Monica Tapper, historian and author of many interesting articles and books on history, including her most recent publication, A CULINARY TOUR THROUGH ALABAMA HISTORY, will tempt us and entertain us with a brief and epicurean look at wedding cakes through the centuries.

The wedding cake of modern times bears little resemblance to wedding food fare in the past. Join us for this delightful look at one of America's favorite foods. Tickets are limited for this delectable event.
