8th Annual Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival (WAMA Fest)

April 6th, 20252-4 pm

The West Alabama Multicultural Alliance (WAMA) invites YOU to join us for the 8th Annual Tuscaloosa Heritage Festival (WAMA Fest)! This year, we’re celebrating the vibrant ethnic heritage of Tuscaloosa with music, dance, art, and food that reflect the diverse cultures that make our community so special.

WAMA is a non-profit organization created to acknowledge the richly diverse cultural heritage of people of color throughout West Alabama.  WAMA Fest offers a culturally aware and diverse event to give Tuscaloosa a unique blend of ethnic art, culture, and history. The festival serves as a conduit for promoting and perpetuating the art, culture, and history of Tuscaloosa, with a focus on the African American community.
