    Congo Falls Park At Congo Nature Preserve---Opening May 1, 2021

    Congo Falls Park is located inside Congo Nature Preserve and borders Little River Canyon National Preserve in Cherokee County Alabama. Congo Falls Park is currently closed to the public, but swimming access will open May 1st 2021.

    Little River Canyon National Preserve/Little River Falls

    Scenic canyon views, picnicking, nature, hiking, kayaking (seasonal), rock climbing, hunting, fishing. $3 fee for Canyon Mouth area only. Free movie and information at Canyon Center.

    Congo Nature Preserve---Opening September 5, 2020

    Congo Nature Preserve was developed to protect area lands within a recently discovered lost historical community from the late 1800s named Congo, Alabama. Welcome center, nature/hiking trails, bird sanctuary. ​
