One of the 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama

Mexican Garbage Nachos

It started as a small waterfront shop in Orange Beach that supplied fuel and fishing tackle, with a small bar and grill where fisherman could relax after a day on the Gulf. But Tacky Jack’s has grown to be a destination establishment, now with four different locations to lure hungry crowds.

Tacky Jack’s Orange Beach serves up the ultimate plate of beef and cheese nachos in a dish called Mexican Garbage Nachos. Crisp corn tortillas are piled high with meat, two cheeses, tomato, onions, black olives, sour cream, jalapeño peppers and tangy salsa. Clean up!
