Swift-Coles Historic House

The beautiful circa 1882 Swift-Coles Historic Home on the banks of the Bon Secour River was the home of Charles Swift and his family. It was located near one of the first Swift lumber mills. The home was occupied by the family until 1976, at which time it was purchased by Nick Coles, who was passionate about its preservation. The home was bequeathed to the Baldwin County Historic Development Commission in 2007. We are now a beautiful Wedding & Reception (and special events) Venue and the home is open on Tuesdays & Fridays for tours.
