Famous Dishes

Eggs Cathedral

A Spot of Tea’s Eggs Cathedral likely got its name from the restaurant’s lovely view of Cathedral Square. The view is great, but the food is even better. This dish features a grilled English muffin topped with a crabcake, scrambled eggs and a homemade seafood sauce of blackened Mexican grouper and crawfish, and easily is enough for two people. You can – and should – add a side of cheddar cheese and onion hash browns for a rich breakfast you won’t soon forget.

Bananas Foster French Toast

Reminiscent of the classic dessert, the Banana's Foster French Toast at Spot of Tea is so good that even those who typically aren’t French toast lovers will adore this dish. Thick slices of French toast are topped with a buttery sweet sauce and a generous helping of sliced bananas and served with a choice of ham, steak, sausage or bacon. This sweet and salty combination is sure to leave you satisfied.
