Greenville Historic Train Depot

1910 Spanish Revival architectural style structure with red tile roof, wide overhanging eaves and stucco walls. Concrete steps and iron fencing added in 1928. Railroad Depot: A modified version of "Dixie," written by Miss Ina Marie Porter, was first sung in 1861 at this site. The present 1910 structure is a good example of the Spanish Revival architectural style, with red tile roof, wide overhanging eaves and stucco walls. The concrete steps and iron fencing were a 1928 addition. Current home of the Greenville Area Chamber of Commerce.
