Old Lock One Park

Now an oxbow lake, the area has a boat launch and is great for bank fishing. Visitors can take a walk under Spanish moss draped trees and even venture out onto the old lock chamber itself. Primitive camping is free and no reservations are needed. There are picnic tables and grills as well as a pavilion that is available to rent. It is operated by the US Army Corp of Engineers.
