The Mobile Carnival Museum highlights Mardi Gras in Mobile - both the regal and street party sides. The museum boasts 14 galleries and 5 video presentations. Experience royalty in a restored mansion - majestic crowns, scepters, and bejeweled robes. Get rowdy in the Den, climb aboard a rocking flor and throw beads to a cheering crowd. Youth can become a costumed masker in the Little Mystics Den. Tours by docents, audio by phone, or self-guided. Educational school tours also available. The musuem and grounds can be rented for private events for groups 10-800 people.
