One of the 100 Dishes to Eat in Alabama

Strawberry Pretzel Salad

Main Street Cafe's famous strawberry pretzel salad isn't a salad after all, but a delicious sweet and salty dessert. Made up of three layers, it uses pretzels that have been tossed with sugar and butter and then baked, followed by a layer of cream cheese, whip topping and sugar that has been whipped together, and topped with a combination of strawberry gelatin and frozen strawberries.
