Loachapoka Historic District

Loachapoka Historic District is home to 14 private antebellum homes, two churches from the 1840's, historic museum and 100-year old school house. There are also events held in the historic district, such as the Syrup-Sopping Day held in mid October, featuring homemade syrup with mule-drawn crushers.
