In 1978, in a little town called Pulaski, Tennessee, two brothers from Athens, Alabama decided to go into the barbecue business. Now more than a quarter of a century later, Phillip and Jerry Lawler have created quite a reputation in the world of barbecue. LawLers prides itself in having "the most flavorful, highest quality pit barbecue in all of North Alabama and Southern Tennessee with establishments in Athens, Huntsville, and Madison in Alabama and Lewisburg, Tennessee. LawLers uses old-fashioned recipes and time-honored traditions to create a sensational experience for barbecue lovers. The meat is still slow-cooked and smoked over Tennessee hickory hardwood in real brick-lined barbecue pits, and hand-picked or pulled from the bones.
