A 1,625 acre Alabama State Park located twelve miles northwest of Tuscaloosa, Alabama, in west central Alabama. The park is named for Alabama's only female Governor, Lurleen B. Wallace. The park is a scenic lakeside retreat se on the banks of a 250 acre lake. The park facilities include a modern campground, picnic aread, play areas, pavilions, beach swimming area, fishing piers, boat rentals, boat launch areas, and a 24+ mile mountain bike/hiking trail system.
