Hambrick Bat Cave

The Hambrick Bat Cave is a must see for visitors exploring Lake Guntersville. Every year from May to October, over 60,000 bats emerge from their sleepy hollow near Guntersville Dam at sunset. People kayak or boat over to the cave to watch the endangered species go out into the night to hunt.  The cave is located about a mile upriver from the Guntersville Dam and is only accessible by boat or kayak.
