Greater Escambia Center for the Arts
Greater Escambia Council for the Arts Theater is a Non-Profit 501-C organization devoted to the Performing Arts. Productions are generally put together with volunteers who love to be part of the theatrical productions, from directing and acting down to the last detail of setting up the stage sets and props.
GECA (as it has become lovingly called by it's members and patrons) has given generously with grants to students looking to begin or further their careers in the performing arts. Donations are accepted at the office, the Atmore News as well as when you're visiting a special performance of your favorite shows.
Tickets are generally $10.00 for non-members and $7.00 for GECA members (inquire at any time about how to become a member!). Tickets are available for GECA's upcoming productions, can be purchased at the Atmore News office on main street in Atmore or call Atmore News at 251-368-6397 to reserve tickets. Tickets will be sold at the door, first come first serve, seating is limited so get your tickets early!
