Founded in 2021, the Freedom Quilting Bee Legacy is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the cultural and economic legacy of the Freedom Quilting Bee, a Black women’s cooperative founded in Alberta, Alabama 1966.
