Union Springs is proud to be the home of five impressive murals painted by renowned artist Wes Hardin. This larger than life mural celebrates represents both the competitive and social events that have highlighted Bullock County field trials for decades.. Union Springs, Alabama has long been known for its many historic buildings and sites. In fact, North Prairie Street, the main street of downtown, has been designated as a historic district because of the many buildings on the historic registry. The district is home to the Red Door Theatre and now includes Murals on Main which are representative of the citizens, traditions, and history of Bullock County.
