Ed Lisenby Public Lake, Walking & Birding Trail, Sam Dale Park and Ozark Community Archery Range

One of top bass fishing lakes in Alabama. Enjoy picnicking, concessions, 3.1-mi./5-km walking and birding trail, boat rental, fishing licenses, and a pavilion. Also see the Sam Dale Park and Monument. Educational field trips, family reunions, tournaments are welcome. The Lake, and the Archery Range are open Sunrise to Sunset 6 days a week and are closed on Wednesdays. Archery Range Rules: All range users must sign in at the lake office before using the range. All range users must check out at lake office or call 334-774-0588 upon departure. Archers must read and follow all safety rules posted at range. All users 16 - 64 must possess a Wildlife Heritage License, Wildlife Management Area License or a State Hunting License to use the Ozark Community Archery Range. Users under 16 or over 64 are not required to possess any of the aforementioned licenses For your convenience, Hunting and Fishing Licenses may be purchased at the lake office.
