Come and enjoy what may just be Dothan's most beautiful park.  Purchased in 1989, Eastgate Park is a 198-acre former horse farm. The park has large open spaces for relaxing activities like, a picnic, flying kites, or reading a book under one of the many old oak trees.  There are also opportunities for other activities as the park offers four pickleball courts, a 2-mile walking trail, a boardwalk, a playground, an archery range, a dog park that has designated areas for small and large dogs, an 18-hole disc golf course, and two ponds. The park is also home to the Lowell Roundtree baseball complex, a five-field design that is home to the Dothan Southern League.If you are planning a wedding, family reunion, birthday party, church function, or company event, Eastgate has a Lodge and two picnic pavilions available for rental.  The lodge has two meeting rooms, kitchen, restrooms, and patio area that overlooks the pond.
