Druid City Makerspace

Druid City Makerspace in Tuscaloosa offers a hands-on pottery painting experience where visitors can create their own personalized ceramic pieces. Guests can choose from more than 400 slipcast molds, including mugs, bowls, plates, figurines, and other decorative items, then select from a variety of colorful glazes to design a one-of-a-kind creation. After painting, the staff professionally fires each piece in a kiln so it becomes a finished, durable ceramic item ready to take home. Many of the bisqueware pieces are made in-house by the makerspace team, and custom options such as adding names or logos may be available. The studio welcomes walk-in visitors during open hours, making it easy for individuals, families, and friends to stop by and enjoy a creative activity.
