Phenix City
Located on the Alabama-Georgia state line in southern Alabama, Phenix City is a charming, progressive town with a rather infamous past. Formerly known as “sin city” in the 1940s and 50s because of rampant political corruption and illegal activities, today Phenix City boasts a population of about 25,000 upstanding citizens, a welcoming family-friendly atmosphere and many interesting historical homes and sites.
