Hartselle


The second largest city in Morgan County, Hartselle boasts a population of more than 14,000 and considers itself the "City of Southern Hospitality." Located about 10 miles from Decatur, Hartselle was established in 1870 and named for George Hartselle, one of the founders. The city was strategically placed along the South and North Alabama Railroad.
