Georgiana, Alabama, is big on musical history. The Hank Williams, Sr. Boyhood Home & Museum is a must-see for fans. Photos, artifacts, and memorabilia are housed in the 1850 home where Williams lived as a child. The Hank Williams Museum also hosts the annual Hank Williams Festival, and you’ll find other live music events at the Georgiana Opry House, where Williams took the stage at age 16. This historical landmark has stood the test of time and even survived several demolition attempts to represent the rich history of the area.
