Courtland
With over 100 buildings dating back to the 1820s, the Courtland Historic District alone makes your visit worthwhile! The Federalist-style John McMahon house, listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is a fine example of early 19th-century architecture. The Courtland Heritage Museum displays the rich history of this beautiful little town. Courtland, AL, is also a haven for hiking, camping, fishing, and water sports on the nearby Tennessee River.
