Chapman's Creek

Chapman's Creek offers some one of a kind species including the Acadian Flycatcher, Red-eyed Vireo, Wood Thrush, Bald Eagles, Pileated Woodpeckers, Summer Tanagers, Great-crested Flycatchers, Broad-winged Hawks, and Wild Turkeys. Primitive camping, a picnic area, and a boat ramp are available. From intersection of AL 22 and US 280, travel AL 22W 2 miles to AL 259 going southwest. Drive 10.3 miles to CR 24. Turn left. Go 1.4 miles to dirt road. Go straight on dirt road for 1.2 miles to road’s end.
