Camp ASCCA
Camp ASCCA, a barrier-free therapeutic recreational facility in Jacksons Gap, is the world's largest camping, recreational and educational facility for people with disabilities, providing opportunities for participants to enjoy everything from fishing and swimming to water skiing and horseback riding. ASCCA's goal is to serve those who can derive maximum benefit from the resident camp experience and provide a healthier, happier, longer, and more productive life for children and adults of all abilities. An accent of the camp's program is "reverse mainstreaming," where non-disabled persons are included in program and activities with disabled persons.
