Athens State University
Athens State University was founded in 1822 and has been enriching the local Athens area for almost two centuries. With on-campus museums including the Tennessee Valley Old Time Fiddlers Museum, The Delmore Brothers Museum, and the Sports Museum; historic buildings that include Founders Hall (the oldest building on campus) and Brown Hall; and historic tree tours; visitors are sure to relive the past when walking through our iconic columns.
