The Ashville Museum and Archives is located in the 1960's Ashville Savings Bank building in historic downtown Ashville. A depository for county records and newspapers, many of which began in the early 1800's. The collection houses original and microfilmed historical genealogical information including family files. Memorabilia exhibits and photographs tell the story of St. Clair County's past. Educational opportunities for students, historians and genealogists
